Burgess Falls

Burgess Falls is located in middle Tennessee and is home to one of my favorite waterfalls. The hike isn’t too hard or too easy, but just right. The falls are simply breathtaking.

Shunkawauken Falls

Shunkawauken Falls are located near the town of Tryon, NC.

It’s quite a drive up the mountain to get to these falls, but worth it. They are huge! I can only imagine what they must have looked like before roads were put into place that disrupted the natural path of these falls. These pictures only show a portion of the falls. They keep going down the mountain.

Pearson’s Falls

Pearson’s Falls is located near Saluda, NC and is more than worth the drive there. The falls are privately owned and managed by The Tryon Garden Club.

It’s a short hike to the falls so this makes for a good family trip. We took our 7 year old with us and he enjoyed the short walk very much. Can’t say that he liked sitting around waiting on me to take pictures though.

Nonetheless, if you are ever in the area or just thinking about taking a trip, I highly recommend Pearson’s Falls.
